Are double jogger strollers allowed inside airport terminals?

I have been told that if a stroller doesn’t fold up to fit on the metal-detector belt and through past the monitor, it is not allowed. Is this true?

  1. No, we get double jogging strollers all the time. T S A will physically check your stroller at the checkpoint if it is too big for the xray machine. I work for Delta Airlines and I am a proud parent with a Sit-n-Stand stroller (which does not fit through) and have never had a problem.
