I know i know! i can live without my phone, but i don’t want it to text on or anything. My dad lives in another city than i do and he’s a construction worker so sometimes he gets hurt at work and since my parent aren’t together anymore im who he calls first but he cant if i don’t have a cell phone..Help Please!?
Your phone will trigger all metal detectors. Having problems getting it on an airplane? They should allow you to take it on-board. I always remove the battery before I board the plane but if the airline will not allow phones aboard, don’t try to sneak it on. That will turn out to be more trouble than it’s worth.

Technically, no. metal detectors can detect any sort of metal (metal plates in your skull or screws in your leg (I broke my leg and now its a hassle to explain every time I got to the airport). They detect rings, belt buckles, the part where you lace your shoes.
Say you hide your tracphone in your shoe, then they bring the wand over and if it starts beeping on your shoe, you’ll be in big trouble (especially at an airport-the shoe bomber). Your best bet is to get friendly with the guards and after a couple weeks, hide one in your purse and talk to them as it goes through the scanner.
Most airports, and even most business, will allow you to have a phone. Don’t try to sneak one on an airplane though. If you cant have them at work, go to the super, the boss, ceo and explain your situation. 9 times out of 10, they’ll make an exception.
