what would the average depth of a coin lost in the 20′s or 30′s in a city park verses my back yard which the ground is like concrete i dont think the ether of them has changed over the years accept the park has been flooded a few times
You may not believe this,but the coin wouldn’t be very deep,if it was not disturbed. I.E. the ground being plowed.I know this because I have found old coins from the 1890′s to 1930′s in less than 6 inches of soil.
30 feet, assuming it’s still there.
