my school has a metal detector and I can walk through it with nothing metal on and it goes off but the wand detector never does.
I’m the only one at my school that has set it off in the last three months and no matter how many times I walk through it always goes off
also I can not wear a watch with a battery or any kind of electronic or it stops working/drains the battery in a matter of hours.
I am the same way to a degree. I drain life time guaranteed batteries in a week or two (not hours though, that’s impressive). I’ve never really had the experience with the metal detectors though… did you talk to your parents to see if you’ve had any sort of surgery etc that would have left some metal in your body?
Also, for me, if i drag a piece of yellow gold (rings, earrings, watever) across my face (like my forehead or cheek) it leaves a long black mark on my skin!
