I need help making a treasure trail for my girlfriend ! (All advice welcomed!)?
(Tl;dr at the bottom for lazy peoples!:))
Hey peoples,
I’m returning from Canada this Thursday, and I’ve missed my girlfriend incredible amounts, so I bought her a lot of gifts while over her, as a surprise, I’ve decided to lay out a little treasure trail for her, for her to get upon my return !
I have to link all of the items together, and give (obvious, but not too obvious) clues for where the next item will be ! Also, they have to be outside her house, as I don’t have a key !
Here are the items :
A Beatles tshirt (her favourite band, a really nice shirt too).
A rolling stones waller (another band she really likes!)
A squirrel (she loves squirrels, she will love it)
A Pandora charm bracelet, and one charm (I plan on giving her more as time goes by!).
And I also have some random Canadian stuff from Dollarama, that I could use to just link stuff together – flags and wind catchers and…bandanas and stuff ! I actually have LOADS of Canadian touristy stuff, so I could use a lot of that !
I need help writing clues though ! There aren’t many hiding places in her garden as she lives in an estate and its very small ! Basically there are three sets of bushes I could put stuff in, and I think I will leave the first clue at her door.
I’m thinking for the beatles shirt I will leave it under a bush and write something like “your favourite band is among its friends, under a tree where your house ends”.
Then for the rolling stones wallet…I will try and leave it by some rocks….”Another gift for you lies, and this one wears a clever disguise, by the rocks, you should see a surprise, a moving stone among its stationary allies.”
I was planning on putting the squirrel holding the bracelet as the last gift, and hiding it very well under a bush (hiding so well because its a rather expensive thing to leave lying around…but I can’t come up with a rhyme for it. It has to mention that its her last gift too.
Can anyone help please ?
Tl;dr – Any advice for organising a treasure hunt for my girlfriend / can you come up with a rhyme that indicates where the last gift is hidden – its a squirrel holding a charm bracelet, I am going to hide it under some bushes. It has to mention its the last gift, too. Also, what do you think/can you improve my other rhymes please ?
Thanks a lot people sorry for how long this is !
Please read this! Easy 10 points to first decent answer!?
So this is a speech that I am writing and I need advice and suggestions. Here it is!

Optimism, a word that means so many things to so many different people. Some people might even say there is no such thing as this evolved hope, that it’s just an illusion. Others say that optimism shines through the clouds of despair and hopelessness while showing you a better path to follow. People who are in poverty, who are sick, and citizens who are getting into financial trouble have only one thing that can make hope come to life and solve the unsolvable, that one thing is optimism.
Through history, the United States of America has ridden on the train of optimism. Great people such as; Harriet Tubman, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan, Florence Nightingale, Bill Gates, Barack Obama and so many more great people who have been an inspiration to our country and have made it down in history all had or have a secret weapon, hard work and optimism. Hard work fits along side optimism and determination just like paper and pencils. Without one it won’t work out. If you work hard but don’t believe that you can do it there isn’t a question about it, you will fail. And same goes with the other way around. You can’t expect to just hope that it will get accomplished and when you open your eyes it will be there. It doesn’t work that way, you need both. If you keep sanguinity that whatever you’re working towards will turn out fine, then your confidence will never fail. A person’s character is well defined if that person has a strong sense of optimism and is less to be discouraged by any obstacle, no matter what measure. Determination, the key to make sure that best abilities are always put to the job, with determination you will make sure that you’d do everything possible to make sure you achieve your goal. Without hope, your determination is severely damaged, because then you don’t carry a can-do attitude and then you simply become malicious in trying to achieve your goal. Without determination and optimism, you don’t have that personal x-factor in you.
When you give up hope and lose sight of your true personality friends and family can bring you back into the light. I really see depression as a high level of not having optimism in what you do. If you don’t believe that you can do it then you misplace your confidence. A quote I recently found that inspired me a lot used words to describe something hard to capture on your tongue. The quote from Vaclav Havel the president of Czechoslovakia declared “I can hardly imagine living without hope. As for the future of the world, there is a colorful spectrum of possibilities, from the worst to the best. What will happen, I do not know. Hope forces me to believe that those better alternatives will prevail, and above all it forces me to do something to make them happen.”
Only you can change your world with a handful of determination, a scoop of hard work and a pinch of optimism. Pessimists continually drown you in their worries and complaints eventually making you believe there can be something wrong with everything in the universe. Other than pessimists there are also realists. The two can be very similar but realists are people who don’t push the limits and only stick to the things they know and can put trust in. Why settle for something that would surely be reliable when you can let god take matters into his hands and give you more? Everyone has dreams when they are little of exploring the world like Indiana Jones while fighting bad guys and snatching the treasure away. You can live like that and dream but only if you are an optimist.
