I know they have some sort of metallic oxide coating on them, but if its aluminium, then it should be invisible to a metal detector?

Metal detector circuit?
I need a metal detector which can detect an aluminium coin within a radius of 8-10 cm, hidden under a plastic sheet. Please help by providing a working circuit. Thanks!
