I was thinking in Arizona somewhere and I would probaly like to use a metal detector rather than panning, but I guess it really doesn’t matter.

gold prospecting question?
I have a quick question about prospecting. I am going crevicing soon on a creek here in arizona. I have found a bend in the creek and a wall of bedrock. The bedrock wall is on the outside of the curve though. My question is, will i find anything? there are many cracks throughout the bedrock, and i was thinking that when it floods it might shove the pickers into the cracks. Am i right? pleae let me know.
