I wanted to know which one makes a metal detector beep real gold or fake gold because i always wanted to know have any of you had an experience where something was real gold or fake gold that went off while going through a metal detector?

I know theres the little metal strip thing but i see store people take them off after you buy the item. I was wondering about like large items like a stereo. The other day I bought a stereo at walmart in the auto check out and I thought to my self why couldnt I just walk out with it. Or when you scan items in the machine does it demagnetize something so it wont beep unless it scans?
Im going ot a concert, and they are not allowed (although they always say this). im going to hide it, but i dont want to beep… you know. At the home depot center…

I want to trace treasure in old houses,not on beach,so my requirment is not with shape but the one who can detect deeply in ground,while my range is around 1000$ ,plz also mention if it beep when it detects some thing then may i will be able to trace exect distance before digging,one more thing confusing me if someone`s frequency range is 7KHz what sode it mean how long deep can it detect in ground ? plz help,10 points and 5 stars for u.
