Toddler Birthday Party Question?

My son is turning two and we are hosting his party in the backyard. It’s mostly family, but some friends and a few kids, so I want to have some activities set up. I plan on having bubbles, and a craft table, but I also would like to incorporate a treasure hunt in sand. We do not have a sand box, and do not want to invest in one for a while. So I thought there has to be a way to make a temporary one for cheap. Any suggestions? Or any other toddler activities you can think of that I can incorprate with minimum $$.
Thanks for the help!
I forgot to mention his theme is Cars…the movie.

I need urgent help! I need some clues and answers for treasure hunt games for kids aged 2-10, please?

I’m busy planning my son’s 1st birthday party, There will be a lot of kids and their family attending. The party will be boring without games. So I really would want to do a treasure hunt games as well as other which I have covered. It is treasure hunt that has been so difficult to plan or organize as I don’t have the time and idea to do it. So please help me….
And another thing, the treasure hunt can take place indoor and outdoor as in the garden space, but not outside the main gate for safety purposes.

p/s: I have trees, flowers and a lotus flower pond in my garden

Thanks a lot in advanced people…
I was also thinking of getting the parents involved with their kids to hunt the treasure, that way the parents and their kids will be occupied in a fun way. Maybe the parents can help solve the clues and get their kids to go get the answers.

I was thinking something like: I’m red and shiny, and delicious to eat, i put snow white fast asleep…. or you know something like that, it also can be challenging as the parents are also involved in the game.

Pirate rhymes needed for treasure hunt?

I’m stumped. Doing a treasure hunt for 6 year olds birthday party and need simple rhymes like the following:

“Yo Ho” is what a pirate sings,
look for the next clue by the swings.

Here’s some places to rhyme – hill, fence, bench, slide, table, bike rack, trees, etc.

The treasure hunt is in a neighborhood park.

If you have any rhymes for these, I’d appreciate the help. Please keep them clean and pirate related if possible.

Thanks!

HOUSE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR BOYS! What do you think of the plan? Too wild?

What do you hate? What do you love? Are you a kid, teenager, or adult?

10-13 kids (mostly boys 8-9 years old)

11:00 am birthday starts

11:00 – 11:30 Rave Dance. Strobe lights, glowsticks, hip hop and techno music.

11:30 – 12:10 Science Magic Tricks (entertainment comes over. static electricity magic, etc.)

12:10 – 12:40 Eat

12:40 – 1:00 Treasure Chest Hunt (Hide treasure chest full of candy (gummy bears, chocollate coins, dragees “silver bullet candy”)

1:00-1:15 Pass the Present (wrap toy in lots of layers. pass around, when music stops person holding present will quickly try to unwrap, when starts passes it on. Person to unwrap present gets it. Four wrapped toys)

1:15 – 1:25 Escape the Rope (tie kids together with a giant rope, kids have to escape)

1:25 – 1:40 Lottery Dares (Lottery tickets for kids. Open ticket: it will be a funny dare or a candy prize)

1:40 – 2:00 Hypno Mystery (like murder mystery except you don’t “die” you have to fullfill a selected dare like: run around trying to lick people)

1:40 – 2:00 Jack in Box war (each kid sits in a giant cardboard box and has their own colored “ammo” foam balls. kids will try to throw the foam balls into each others boxes. You can close top flap of box to hide. At the end the winner is the kid who got their balls into all the player’s boxes)

2:00 – 2:15 Human Hedgehogs (Giant box from furniture. I will hide in it and cut three holes at the top. Kids will try to wack me in the head with a balloon hammer when i stick my head out)

2:15 – 2:35 Pizza Making & Lego Candy (Kids will make pizza and build stuff of edible lego)

2:35 – 3:00 Eat pizza and Cake

3:00 Lootbags

Invitation Cards, I already made these:

Boys: A jack in the box type thing with teeth sticking out and a tail, a gloved hand handle, open it: an invite card pops out on a spring made of paper, and in a separated flap inside there is a packet of exploding candy (like pop rocks).

Girls: A jack in the box with a princess tiara flap, wings drawn on the side of the box, a star handle, open it: an invitation card pops out, and packet of exploding candy aswell.
