School rule?
My school recently made a rule that you can no longer carry around bags to class. Guys like me can’t where those small bags and girls can’t carry around handbags. Most teachers say that its for saftey cause they think someone might bring a weapon to school. I just think they’re too paronoid. If they really want to protect us, just get metal detectors, They can use all that money from taxes payed by our parents and school lunches. I mean its time they actually used that money for the good. So here are some things that not having a bag can cause….
Late for class cause you gotta go back to locker
Carrying around all those books,folders,notebooks
l
ess time to chat in hallways, cause gotta get to class
droping books
Carrying projects is almost immpossible cause you got all those books in the other hand.

can someone start a petition to install metal detectors in all of california’s high schools?
this is for a speech class. I have to persuade in favor of metal detectors. But i’m not sure what my action step should be…..do i instruct people to write to the governor, or to contact the school board, or do i ask them to sign a petition…..i’m not sure how this would work in a real life situation……help please!!

Why should metal detectors be illegal at schools?

Flame test question for chemistry class?
Flame tests can be used to detect metals ions in mixtures of ions, but there are some drawbacks to using these tests. List two reasons why it is easier to use flame tests to identify a single element rather than finding more than one elements in a mixture. (We used nitrate compounds in class)
