I say this because obviously he is the best coach Mexico has.. well we all dream of him taking us to the world stage and making it to the quarter, semi, or even the finals in the world cup right? well if that’s so wont you guys agree that it would be better if he can have his 4 years instead of 2 so that he can work on the team and get them comfortable with the style of play he wants them to have?

I mean think about it there are many advantages to this… he can guide us through the gold cup and get us into the confederations and possible hopefully try to win it again… he can even lead us to our first Copa America… not to mention most of Mexico’s young prospects should be at their peek when we reach the WC 2014 wouldnt you guys want possibly the strongest team Mexico has ever had to be led by our best coach? this would be a really young team probably consisting on Vela, gio and jonathon Dos santos, Guardado, Hugo Ayala, Hector Moreno, Ochoa, Nery, etc… and then you never know who else is going to pop out unexpectedly out of no where and be a power house like how Guardado did…

so those are some of the reasons why i think we should wait and try to get El Vasco after this WC and get someone like La Volpe back in. cause we all know Mexico played well with him and he brought unity to the team.. and thats what they are missing right now if u ask me..

@el chivazteka you misread what i said… i was saying let lavolpe do this years WC he proved he can qualify with ease and make a great mexican team… and to let Aguirre take over on 2010 after the WC and on 2011 win the gold cup and qualify them for the confeds……..

but too late know seing how Aguirre is DT know and dont get me wrong im THRILLED!!!! i just hope he stays for the 6 years instead of just this 2 years
