Anyone read Clive Cussler books?
I could use your help. I’m writing a book series very much like Cussler’s Dirk Pitt books, and I got the entire first book all planned out EXCEPT the main character. I know who the bad guys are, what their sinister far-fetched plot is, and what will happen in the end battle. It is very Clive Cussler-ish, I just am lost when it comes to my main character. The ending is very Cusslerish though. Imagine the Sahara ending times 4.
The character basically needs to travel like Pitt does, happens to be in the area in time to save someone, then sniffs around and hunts down the sinister people. I just don’t know what his job is in the book.
Right now I’m thinking of a zoologist, Steve Irwin type, but I’d like any suggestions.
Its a great book though – its a lot like Treasure or Inca Gold. The title is “Columbian Death”. The main character’s name is Trevor Knight. I’m on chapter 4 and need the main character to enter. Help! I’ll love you forever!
St. Patrick’s Day Leprechaun Scavenger Hunt ideas for Kindergarten?? What do you do?
I just remember in K going around the school looking for clues that a Leprechaun left and then at the end finding a pot of gold with chocolate gold coins. I think the upper grades will have testing that day (BOO!) so I am looking for ideas of what you do for the day! Thanks

should i join my christian friend’s church activity on the weekend when i am an atheist?
my christian friend always invite me to go to her w/end church activity like treasure hunting, movie outing etc, she knows i am an atheist, should i go just to make more friends, or what?

I really want to move but my parents have decided to stay?
Before the end of 2010, my parents were obsessed with Georgia to the point where they even bought an amazing house. They introduced the prospect of moving to me and I liked the idea, since where we live (Dubai) is a terrible place, where racism is high and courtesy is non existent. I loved Georgia, the air is fresh, not like the desert/urban air i’m used to, people are nice, not like those arrogant Dubai locals who think they own you just because they’re Daddy has a company and I was excited at the idea of starting off fresh. But now my indecisive parents are leaning towards the idea of staying in this **** hole country where opportunities are limited to non locals, due to the biased government and the lack of democracy (cmon there’s no freedom of speech!) Dubai is not all glitter and gold like its portrayed. Non locals are not allowed to do many things. (eg. we aren’t allowed to start busineses without being fronted by a local) I want to escape to freedom where equality exists. DUBAI IS A SHITHOLE
