i found an old wheel while metal detecting……?

i found an old wheel while metal detecting and i was curious to see what you guys thought as to how old it might be. the wheel looks like it’s iron maybe and has slotted notches on the inside of the it like it was a gear wheel or something. it was made by “great states” corp. and they have been in business since 1893 and they manufacture lawn/ farm equipment. i found another piece similiar to the one i have in question and it said richmond ind. on it but both have s8 on it or something to that nature. the ground it was found in is basically flat. there might be a slight slope but not much of one at all. how long do you think it would take for the earth to cover up something like that in about 5 inches of hard packed dirt? in your opinion how old do you think it might be in accordance to the information i’ve given you? just curious to see what you guys have to say. thanks

How do i fix my PS2 Memory card?

I just got a new modded ps2 with a bundle offer of 10 games and a 8mb memory card.I was playing metal gear 3 and when prompted to save and i selected to save a new file (since its my first time playing the game) it would say no card detected.I tried the memory card on the other slot but same problem.So i tried the other games i got and same problem, no memory card detected. However my bro had a copy of onimusha and when i tried to save it actually worked and it even loaded the saved game.So i went back to the shop and tested another memory card on my console and still had the problem, i even tried another new console and same thing still wont detect my card. Any ideas whats the problem and how i can fix it??

Why won’t my PC detect my internal hard drive enclosed to become an external hard drive?

I am running a new Vista and wanted my old hard drive accessible so I installed it into a Metal Gear Box hard drive enclosure kit. The kit has power and I can hear the hard drive but my PC doesn’t recognize it exists. Not even an error message. I’ve checked for the drive to be listed under “My Computer” as well as in the device manager and it is nowhere to be seen. I had my PC scan for new hardware, and still nothing. I’ve tried different USB cables and ports and I know those aren’t the problem. Can anyone help?

Having trouble killing enemies in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots?

It seems that every time I kill an enemy silently a nearby enemy soldier, who is out of range to even hear the attack, comes running to see what just happened. They don’t trigger an alert until they see me or the dead body. However if I tanq the enemy or KO them no enemies come running. Once instance I used a silenced sniper rifle to take down a group of enemies, they were quickly alerted. I then retired the same thing with the Mosin-Nagant (which isn’t silenced) and no enemy was alerted to what was going on, even with the loud boom.

My only thought is that (thinking in terms of the games story) the enemies can detect when their teammates have died due to the nanomachines.
I have KO’ed en enemy and then killed them, and it still causes an enemy who is way out of ear-shot to come running. If I kill the guard who comes running another comes after them.

I am at the part in S. America where I just ran into Drebin. I am trying to take out guards on the way to the small enemy camp where several militia are being help prisoner.
While sniping with a silenced M4 enemies in the immediate vicinity don’t come to investigate what just happened, but rather an enemy who is down the hill from me and off my radar. I go undetected by enemies right beside the guy I killed, but an enemies much farther away come running. And they aren’t along their usual patrol route when they come running.
