I vaguely remember a movie that terrified me when I was little. It was a ghost movie, and I don’t remember all the plot for sure, but I’ll relate what I remember. Bear in mind that I might be mixing up some of the details with other movies.
There was a girl (with a brother?) who came into possession of her great-grandmother’s locket. I seem to remember a treasure map, as well. She kept having these visions of a girl (her great-grandmother) being chased by men in Civil War soldier uniforms. She was eventually chased into some sort of catacomb or cave, where she fell into a hole and died. Eventually the main character finds her bones and all the family gold. I seem to remember the ghost’s name was Rachel, or something like that. I think the movie was made in the 80s.
Any ideas?
