drifter ran his highbanker in moorsville, indiana he found about two penny weights and two pickers.
Having fun in the river looking for gold with our highbanker in California. We are panning and sluicing the creeks and streams like the old time prospector of the old west, looking and digging through boulders, rocks, gravel and black sand concentrate to find that shinny metal nugget or flake called gold or Au. Maybe some will get stopped in the riffles and miners moss of our powersluice. Maybe some day we will be able to suction dredge again!!! Happy treasure hunting.

My newly completed home made Highbanker / Banjo, powered by a Honda WX-10 4 stroke pump. This was the very first test. The adjustment angles will need a bit of experimentation to get the flow and movement of concentrates through the sluice correct. Filmed near Ophir, NSW.
