In this episode of Looking for Gold, Shelly and I travel to the LDMA Oconee property which is just North of Walhalla, SC to meet up with fellow prospector Jim Smith and find gold! We know that you can’t dredge or power sluice there, so we take our new pyramid pan that we got from Dennis Katz the Fossicker at www.fossickers.com which is also http I really like the pyramid pan because I’m able to move through a good bit of material and feel confident that I’m capturing all the gold. I think it is a must have prospecting tool. Especially for sampling!
