How do I get through airport security with nipple piercings?

If my nipples are pierced, and it is metal jewelry. How do I get through airport security without setting off the alarm? Do I have to take them out- I am worried about them closing up. Also, is there a different jewelry that cannot be detected? Maybe plastic or something. Anyone have any ideas?

I need to know which are the best metal detectors for hunting gold and silver metals as in coins and jewelry. We want one that isn’t too hard to use but won’t go off with every aluminum can, iron nail, or copper penny it comes within reach of.
