On a Air line , as a carry on item .
Or is there some type of restriction on taking metal detector (s) with you ?
You might have seen his question before, but I had to repost it since people didn’t seem to understand that I wasn’t asking about the STORY LINE, since it was something I made up right off the bat for you to look at. I know its lame, but I just want to you to focus on my WRITING STYLE, not the plot. And I mean for real; no bullshit here, folks. I mean to get it published. So yes, if you could take the minute or two to read this short passage of mine, and review it, I would greatly appreciate it — Advanced critic encouraged. I just want you to take a long, thoughtful look at my writing style. Thank you.

Anthony squinted hard in an attempt to peer through the half-light, picking his way carefully along the shortly-cropped grass of his rather large backyard. He quietly passed the pool and the shed, making sure to keep his footsteps light and airy as he did so. The boy then looked up, blinking tiredly as he surveyed what little was left of the day; and knowing that, in a matter of minutes, it would over. And with the day gone, what else would replace it but the eerie and mysterious time known only to the world as ‘night’?
But that prospect was unimportant, for now; he would have to wait.
The sun was finally beginning to set over the hills that neatly framed the base of the horizon; the last of its light winking out like the flame of a candle left open to the wind. Anthony watched this stoically; and it was only when the gold-streaked sky was finally left with nothing but the clean, dark blue palette of twilight that he suddenly broke into a stiff run, all sense of stealth forgotten as he sprinted across the wide expanse of grass laid out before him.
Then, with a quiet shudder and a pained twist of his thin frame, he was free; no longer loping on two feet, but four. His gait was cleaner now, smoother; seemingly carrying him across the ground on winged paws. Eyes sharp and ears pricked, Anthony pelted forward, tail streaming out behind him like a banner.
In a matter of heartbeats–moments that seemed to stand out, as if belonging to a world all their own–the boy that was now a wolf disappeared into the eerie and mysterious time known only to the world as ‘night.’

I apologize, I don’t mean to get THIS published, haha; since frankly I just made it up. But I mean in the future, getting other things that I might want want to get published into a book/magazine. Thanks for the replies, everyone! =]
I am trying to make my own b-day invitations that look like a treasure map and also a treasure map for a favor. How would I do this using MS Word? I need an easy way to create the footprints and/or curved dotted line.
