it was like a pirate/treasure comedy. i remember a grandma was reading a pirate book to her grandson, and that night the kid gets like sucked into the book and finds himself falling from the sky and landing on a beach, where pirates are sword fighting. this is a comedy though. two of the kids friends are also on this island but i forgot how they got there. i think one of the pirates was a big bald black guy, another was a short goon i think. i forgot what the other main ones loked like..anyways the kids are looking for some treasure and the bad pirates are trying to stop them. the kids set up traps ( that like of the traps in the home alone movies). also i think i remember a mermaid who somehow gets legs and helps the kids get the treasure. i remember the last scene they are in the cave with the treasure and the leader of the bad pirates is also there, and the wall starts to cave in & the mermaid loses her legs and gets a fin back and the kids have to hurrily carry her out..any help?
