Boxing in USA in my humble opinion, is the same that has been the last 30 years and maybe more,which is in my eyes:
White Americans have abandon the sports for other “kind” or “new ” sports,Hollywood,Wall Street etc etc
Black Americans and Latino Americans still represent 95% of American boxing as they have the last 30-35 years,they get beat MADLY (i do not say this but the numbers do) in the Olympics and World Amateur Tournaments mainly from E.Euros (with the bright exception of 1976) and THE MAIN , BIG , HUGE, difference the last 10 years is not the NBA or NHL or MLB excuse,these sports have always been there,the main difference is this!
Which is the fact that Korobov NOW CAN BECOME PROFESSIONAL TO BEAT the American Prospect in Professional level as well,i mean Lagutin for example or Papp were not lucky enough to do so because of Politics,i mean if someone disagrees and can make civilized valid points,i am here,i have the numbers,i have the facts , i have the % and i am waiting for yours

To close this yes JOHN i say that America has some listen SOME not all,very good players in basketball like Europe does as well,you have lost in 4 major competitions 98-02-04-06 and you are over 300 million playing vs tiny countries like Greece and Argentina or Spain!

ok, here’s the thing, i don’t mean to offend anyone esp that particular person who just posted something like, is there a possibility that a filipino player could make it on NBA? i was ok with the question until he mentioned that he thinks JAMES YAP COULD BE A POSSIBLE PROSPECT.
