What if you could encourage someone?

Imagine with me, if you will… that you daily carry a little story clipped from a newspaper – or a little flyer that’s encouraging – or a favorite touching story – tucked away in your walet or purse.

Imagine that you are riding on a bus, or standing in a grocery line or waiting in a doctors office… and you see someone.

This someone seems hurt, or lost… or maybe you overhear a part of their conversation and you are now aware their heart is breaking…. and it occurs to you that the precious little story you’ve been toting around would probably bring them a little comfort.

Imagine you have the courage to hand it to them – even if you only walk away afterwards.

What would your little treasure say?

What one message would you leave in order to touch a stranger’s hurting heart? Can you share that whole message here?

Peace.

Help with Environmental Science homework?

Use the following scenario in answering the question. After reading a newspaper article about gold mining prospects near your home town, your sister commented that it seems as though miners are going after ores with less and less concentrations of the gold. She mentions the rich gold veins and nuggets that she reads about in historical accounts of gold mining and wonders what factors have lead to the change. She tells you that she knows that the days of gold nuggets in the streams are gone, but that she can’t believe how small the percentage of gold is in the ore they are now mining. First, you tell your sister that she sounds like your father, commenting on the good old days. Then you explain to her that there are many factors driving the changes and that there are important environmental implications of the mining.

Which of the following factors were not in your explanation?

A. Technological inventions can increase the efficiency of gold extraction from the ore.
B. New sources of the gold ore are found through better exploration techniques.
C. Technological inventions can increase efficiency of gold processing out of the ore.
D. As supplies decrease and prices rise it is less rewarding to explore for new sources of the gold.
E. All of these factors are based in economics and would be used in my explanation.

Heap-leach extraction involves piling crushed ore into large piles and spraying it with ________________.

A. an alkaline-cyanide solution
B. concentrated salt water
C. high-pressure steam
D. giant sandblasters
E. none of these are correct.

Thanks for your help.

So far no1 has found the treasure chest (thats the item you need to get), and i have 12 clues. Here are all the clues, if i win i would receive a prize, so if anyone has any ideas of the location of the chest or can help translate this pirate talk i would GREATLY appreciate it. Here are the clues so far.

1. X almost marks the spot.
2. Dont know where me treasure keep? it is not near any briny deep.
3. If a freebooter ye are, a drivelswigger could get far.
4. The cloest cackle fruit is almost out of sight, u can win another lottery there if u get the numbers right.
5. Moonlight here is hard 2 see, intense gold light surrounds thee.
6. A high mast be near, but from the location, might not be so clear.
7. Currents above instead of below, makes us happy with its flow.
8. Ye could fly a jolly roger very near, although right now there is nothing here.
9. Go the wrong way and youll be forced way off course, watch out for the twins they send u away from me source.
10. Arrgh…need to walk the planks to get to me hoard, but look for four boards.
11. Five leagues from me base, are u the one to win my race?
12. Avast, avast, avast!

i know that no1 will be able to pinpoint the exact location, since its a local thing and u must know the city, but any clue translations or guesses where it may be such as near a baseball field or something would be very helpful.

thankssssssssssss

unknown metal found by metal detector at airport?

i heard that about 10 years ago there was a story on the news or in the newspaper about a man who was walking through a metal detector at an airport, and they detected a piece of metal in his leg or his arm or something like that, and he claimed to have never broken anything there so why should there be metal there…well he had it x-rayed and there was a piece of metal there, he had it removed, they analyzed it, and it was made of an unknown material…does anybody else know about this story, where it happened or anything?
