I lost my favorite pair of prescription shades in tall grass out here in the country and am desperate to find them. I am thinking about trying to detect the screws and wondered if there are metal detectors sensitive enough.

Isn’t using a method of physical obersvations…?
to find non-physical things just about as useful as using a metal detector to find a plastic jug.
I know the scientific method can find evidences/non-evidences of spiritual stories. But can it really find what’s at the heart of those stories? Can it really find deity, or revelation, or spiritual beings? Or are those things the “plastic” to a metal detector?
If it can be used, please share how.
If it can’t, are there any other viable ways for us to gain knowledge about spiritual things?
