How do drugs get into prisons?

I have recently taken a job to work at a maximum security state prison as a food service supervisor. Of course, all the other stuff has been very helpful in giving me advice about certain things, and I am grateful to them all, yet every once in awhile I hear about a problem, like how an inmate had a cell phone, or they are doing drug testing, or what not. Everyday that I go into work I empty my pockets, walk through a metal detector, and am patted down, then allowed to proceed. So is everyone else. So I am really curious as to how it is that illegal drugs are a problem in a maximum security prison. Where is it that they are coming from and how are the inmates getting access to them? And how are the other inmates getting money to pay for them?

Did you have metal detectors at your school?

When I was in high school, in Columbine no less, I never had someone search me or scan me for weapons, such practices were unheard of because the kids I went to school with were not killers, oh we got into the occasional fist fight, but no mother had to cry herself to sleep because her baby died at school. What about you? Did metal detectors make you feel safer? What school more like prison? Or were you like me and didn’t have to go through that. Thoughts? Tell Matticus he WANTS to KNOW>

Another school killing in Orlando, FL this time. Do you think it is time the USA federal government imposed?

a federal law requiring all schools to have metal detectors installed in their schools? I mean this school didn’t have any real security in their school just some stupid deputy. And the school’s reason for not having metal detectors is cos it would make the school seem like a prison. HELLO! After the tragic shooting of Columbine in April 1999 our schools became less safe to walk into. It seems any nut can come into our schools now with an AK-47 or any other gun, or bombs and just start killing people. Face it the USA is not as safe as it was like 30 years ago. Who cares if the schools look like prisons. If that is what it takes to keep our children safe in schools then I think the USA federal government needs to impose tougher measures and enact a federal law in order to make our children safe in school.

Can someone please fill me in on Prison Break?

Ok, they all break out of prison, i get it. They search for D.B. Cooper’s treasure, i get it. Michael gets the treasure but loses it. How? Who is “The Company?” Why can’t Lincoln go back to America even though hes been acquitted?

Do I have school-phobia?

I haven’t gone to school since January 3rd. So that makes it 3 weeks from now I think. And I haven’t been doing so well in school either because of my absence. And it’s not because I’m lazy. I just hate school, I hate it with a passion. I hate waking up early, I hate the teachers, I hate the students, I hate the security guards and the deans, not to mention those damn metal detectors. Stepping one foot inside that god forsaken school makes me feel like I’m in prison, which makes me nervous and untrusted. What’s even worse, is that I’m a senior and I have six more months to make up for the school work. I’m scared that I might not graduate this year and I don’t want to be a school dropout and I really don’t want to go to summer school…or worse, repeat the same grade. I don’t want to disappoint my mom. All this is making me feel frustrated and frightened. I wish I was home schooled, it would have been much easier. But I think it’s too late for that.
