I was invited to join a treasure seeking party, should I go?
I like reading about such things in books, but I am not sure they are for real. All these maps, hidden treasures – do they exist in real life? I was asked to join such a party, and by a man who has known my family for years – he knew my grandfather, and my mother, and he is was a good friend to them, Gandalf was, till their deaths. Now he came for tea and brought a company of thirteen with him, and asked me to join them, searching for a hidden treasure in some mountain far east! They brought a map, too (I like maps), and discussed the matter most seriously, eating, drinking and singing. It seemed so real and exiting last night, when we had a party, and I agreed to go with them, but this morning it seems to absurd and childish for me, and even dangerous. Do such things as hidden treasures exist in real life? And should I go?
