English with English writing/language?

I’m doing this presentation on Mining (mining student myself) and i have to do 7-10 minutes talking about mining in Mongolia. Below is how I’m kind of preparing for it. If there’s any grammar errors please help me spot em. Also I’ve got some unfinished awkward sentences in the last paragraph please help me with those. And if there’s anything that needed to be omitted or added, please suggest me. Thanks a lot in advance. I’m sorry this is a long question. But I’ll forget you as a person who did a huge favor for me. Thanks again.

Good morning everyone. My name’s bilguun batbaatar. I’m originally from Mongolia. Today I’ll be doing the presentation on Mining in Mongolia as my main topic.

For subtopics I’ll briefly discuss about the background info on Mongolia in general
And then I’ll talk about mining in Mongolia, Canadian Mongolian relationship regarding mining industry, future prospects of the industry in Mongolia. Lastly, ill briefly discuss the benefits of working overseas.

So Mongolia… It’s a place of history, beautiful natural sceneries and today a place mining.
Throughout history, Mongolians have always been known as warriors, those who like to engage in war. As a result we found, the largest contiguous empire the world has ever seen just 800 hundred years ago. (map) Here’s the picture of Genghis khan, the founder of Mongol Empire (picture). Here’s the map of Mongolia Today. Pretty small compared to the previous one. I don’t know why. We have about 2.7 million people, bordered with china on the north and Russia on the south.

Moving on… Mining in Mongolia. (slide) Mongolia is a very rich country in terms of natural resources and minerals. We have a variety of different minerals such as gold, lead, copper, oil tin and uranium. Although we are very rich in minerals we don’t have expertise, technology to bring…..As a result we need mutually beneficial foreign investment, expertise in the field. And Canada happens to be the perfect example for that. Canada and Mongolia have a cooperative bilateral relationship which includes significant Canadian investment in the mining sector. Here’s an example. (slide) Ivanhoe mines is a Vancouver based mining company that has its biggest asset in Mongolia called The oyu tolgoi deposit and it is considered one of the largest copper and gold deposits in the world. It’s under construction and scheduled to start production in late 2012.
People in the mining field travel a lot. And some of you might be interested in coming to Mongolia and work after graduation. In that case, you are all welcome to come.

childrens story project (has to do with mathh)?

i have to do this math project thing. what i have to do is write a childrens story using at least 15 of these words:equation, expression, parenthesis, solution, terms, variable, coordinate system, congruent, angle, vertex, acute, right, obtuse, point, line, plane, line segment, and ray. and it cant be over 7pgs long(but doesnt matter how many sentences on a page). this is what i have so far.:
Once there were two kids, Aaralyn and Cale, who wanted to go on a treasure hunt. So they asked their mommy to make a map. After the map was done, the first thing they noticed was all the lines and angles. They also noticed the words “Have fun.” At the top of the page, in parenthesis, that their mom wrote. The finish point was marked with an X. Aaralyn and Cale started on the map as soon as possible. They had to use the coordinate system to help them find the treasure, so the first coordinate was 6, 9.

yeah, and thats pretty much all i have so far. can you help me with the rest??
and thanks in advance!
the words already used: parenthesis, coordinate system, angle, point, & line
