Taxi Service: to use handheld metal detectors on riders or not?

I am in the early planning stages of starting a taxi/transportation service in a town of 15,000. Would it be a good idea to scan all male passengers over age of 12 for weapons with a handheld metal detector in order to prevent robberies? Is this a good idea, or is it going a little too far? If so, what alternatives could I take?

How do drugs get into prisons?

I have recently taken a job to work at a maximum security state prison as a food service supervisor. Of course, all the other stuff has been very helpful in giving me advice about certain things, and I am grateful to them all, yet every once in awhile I hear about a problem, like how an inmate had a cell phone, or they are doing drug testing, or what not. Everyday that I go into work I empty my pockets, walk through a metal detector, and am patted down, then allowed to proceed. So is everyone else. So I am really curious as to how it is that illegal drugs are a problem in a maximum security prison. Where is it that they are coming from and how are the inmates getting access to them? And how are the other inmates getting money to pay for them?

If I were to start a metal detecting service. Do you believe it would succeed?

I want to begin a metal detecting service that would include finding lost jewelery on the surface, and relics within the ground. I was going to charge $20/hr for relics, and $15/hr for jewlery with a 1/2 hour minimum.

Which do you prefer, mani, pedi, massage, or other?

For my wife’s birthday in late October I’m sending her on a “Treasure Hunt” around town. One of the treasures is a service at a local salon/spa and I’m looking for opinions on which is better between a manicure, pedicure, massage, or some other service. There is a Mario Tricoci in the mall by our house, so the range of services is almost endless.
