What’s the best way to take a cat on an airplane? Are natural calming agents like “Rescue Remedy” a good idea?

We will take a long, transatlantic flight from Europe to the USA so metal detectors are an issue. The cats will be on board: one is more nervous than the other. We have read about “Feliway” and “Rescue Remedy” as good, natural calming remedies. We plan to start getting the cats used to getting in the carrier and going for short drives in the car as they will have to go to the airport. Any tips or advice are appreciated! BFG

camera at the House of Blues?

so im going to see a concert on may 13th at the house of blues in chicago in the standing room…and people have said that they have metal detectors so theres no way i could sneak a digital in. and i could just use my camera phone but it doesnt take very good pictures.
but i was just wondering if i took a disposible camera in, it wouldnt get detected by the metal detectors cuz its plastic…right? and if i would just keep the flash off and take pics when security isnt around do u think id get away with it?
has anyone ever done that at a house of blues?
dont try to talk me outta it cuz theres no way im not taking pics at this concert. its my favorite music group.
