I named my daughter Jadyn which means God heard. We have fertility issues and prayed so hard for her. You can go to a Christian bookstore and find baby name meanings in a book. Good luck and God Bless.

Eroyen, I do know it has a Biblical meaning, but I don’t recall exactly what it is at this time. You might could look on the net and find out. I am not quite sure about the spelling. This is how it is pronounced: Err-O-wyn.

I have a baby name book that says names like Marie and Marilou both mean “bittersweet.” I think the name Miriam is also included in that meaning. Those names are a bit hard to get used to. But I like the name Marilou because it was my grandma’s name. She passed away 4 months before my first daughter was born…so after finding that out, it seemed kind of fitting.
Also, I’m not so sure that bittersweet as a meaning would be appropriate. Maybe it would. Just throwing it out there.
