That was a headline on my yahoo home page. Did Yahoo make it sound like our guys are getting their butts kicked? Our guys are winning and yet are presented by the print, tv and internet press as losing. The democrats say we are losing. Is this not the way we left Vietnam. The Tet offensive was a bust for North Vietnam. They suffered heavy losses on every front. It was reported as a major loss for the US. John Kerry accused the US of etrocities. Our guys in the Hanoi Hilton were tortured as Kerry’s words were read to them. After we gave up and left Vietnam when the democrats blocked funding our press failed to fully report what followed. Thousands of Vietnamese were sent to reeducation camps. The communists in Cambodia killed several million cambodians for cooperating with the US. The Killing Fields was the only movie about this halocaust. By giving up blood and treasure we have given these people their first taste of freedom without stealing one quart of oil.
…or maybe because quite literally, it was the worst week yet for US Soldiers in 2008.
Meh, anyone can complain about the press, but as long as people like you keep getting your information from them, they’ll keep going strong. If it bothers you, watch Fox News or make your own news agency.
